6/17/2023 0 Comments Soulcalibur vi switch![]() It’s a fairly traditional beat-’em-up in m Skip to. Is Soul Calibur VI coming to Switch afterall Why would that just say console like that, unless they are announcing the Switch version later. ![]() ![]() I can say this much, they did ask for peoples opinion and said, yes if theres enough demand for a port they will consider it, they said the same thing for Tekken 7, the problem being there just isn't enough money in it for them with sony japan holding a monopoly on the fighting game industry. The Soulcalibur series has been around since the late ‘90s, but VI marks its first appearance on PCand it’s long overdue. Well I can tell you this much, its been confirmed that the PC version of Tekken 7 is visually superior to the PS4/pro version because of the resolution scaling thats used, so not sure where you get the idea that its cutback, but maybe I misunderstood what you said, in terms of DBZ figherz thats because its using cell shaded tech, similiar to the guilty gear xrd series its not fully 3d rendered, almost like a 2.5d plain, soul calibur and Tekken are much different beasts in comparison to this. Hell there was a version of Tekken 6 that ran on a 3DS and that's worst hardware. I don't understand this negative mentality that everything that goes portable is instantly 30 or subpar 20fps. It wouldn't be as visually striking as lets say, the PS4 version, but don't forget there has been portable Soulcalibur's and Tekken's in the past that have ran at 60. The Wii U had Tag 2 that stayed at 60 and with UE4 it should be an even easier task than what they had to do in the past because the engine has the appropiate SDK's needed to make SC6 run on the switch, they just need to put the extra effort in. With time and effort, they could make a portable verison of Soulcalibur VI that hits 60FPS and stays there they've already achieved this with worst hardware.
